Leading law firm visits Kingsway Park High School to encourage pupils into law careers

Date published: 03 July 2021

Year 10 pupils at Kingsway Park High School have been visited by lawyers from leading North West commercial law firm Brabners.

Five solicitors visited a group of Year 10 Citizenship and RS classes to encourage more students to consider careers in law.

The visitors were led by partner Helena Davies and included a mix of solicitors and trainee solicitors who shared their experiences of working in the law sector.

Mr Davies, teacher of social sciences, commented: "The visit has been a great success in engaging Kingsway Park High School students to consider law and the professions generally.

“Our students were a credit to the school and really put the Brabners team to the test with an array of challenging and thoughtful questions.”

Brabners, with offices in Manchester, Liverpool and Preston employing around 400 staff, is seeking to recruit lawyers from more diverse backgrounds as part of a corporate social responsibility drive.
