A 39-year-old man has been charged following the seizure of drugs worth an estimated £1.8m
A man has been charged in connection with the seizure of a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs in Heywood.
Vladan Petrovic, 39, has been charged with possession of Class A controlled drugs with intent to supply and has been remanded into police custody.
Officers discovered approximately 28kgs of suspected Class A drugs in a vehicle in Heywood on Hareshill Road on Monday (8 March). Further searches of the vehicle revealed another 32kgs of suspected Class A drugs.
The seizure is estimated to be worth £1.8 million in total.
Petrovic is due to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrate's Court today (Wednesday 10 March).
