Date published: 12 March 2021

Employees of GP Care Services at The Willows Dementia Hub are celebrating after achieving work-based qualifications with Rochdale Training.

A local provider of GP management and community healthcare service, GP Care Services works with local people, GPs and health care professionals to raise the standards of community care. It also runs the Willows Dementia Hub on Broad Lane.

The training has included Health Care Diploma level 2, Team Leading level 2 and the Care Certificate, funded by the European Social Fund.

Julie Saville, Director of GP Care Services Limited and The Willows’ Registered Manager, said: “Rochdale Training has supported our workforce with several courses funded by the European Social Fund.

“The training has increased the skills of our team, staff retention, morale and bottom line performance. The bespoke training package has enabled my employees to focus on specific skills, build their confidence and progress onto further learning.

“The training has been delivered at a variety of venues and times that suited my employees which enabled us to work flexibly around our business need.

“We are very thankful for the funding and the personal approach of the tutors; they are knowledgeable, approachable and have always put the learner at the heart of programme.”
