The Household Hardship Fund supports people who are struggling with the cost of food, energy and supplies
Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale (HMR) Circle has been made an official verifying partner of the Household Hardship Fund, which supports people who are struggling and most in need of support across the Rochdale borough with the cost of food, energy and supplies.
The Household Hardship Fund is focused on keeping people warm and fed over the winter period, with superstore vouchers and fuel vouchers.
There are some criteria which must be met:
- The applicant lives in the Rochdale Borough and is 16 years or over
- That additional support has been offered by Circle or signposting as appropriate to tackle the underlying causes and issues impacting on the applicant
- Other options have been explored by HMR Circle
- The applicant is in receipt of benefits or there may be occasions where resident isn't in receipt of benefits but they are struggling as a result of Covid. In this situation HMR Circle will explain the position through completing a verifying statement on the application and vouching for the level of need.
If you are or you know someone who is struggling at this time, please get in touch via email or call 0800 112 3440 and HMR Circle will help if it can.
