Rotary Heywood 2020 begins to hand out donations to local causes

Rotary Heywood 2020 has begun making donations to local causes, such as 14th Heywood (Woodland) Guides, 7th Heywood (St. George's) Rainbows and 4th Ravenscroft Scouts.
Club secretary Edwin Partridge said: “The generosity of the people of Heywood during the Santa visits has enabled us to start making donations to local causes.”

Rotary Heywood 2020 had a wonderful December helping Santa around Heywood, visiting six local primary schools to bring joy to the children whose Christmas celebrations were a little different to usual. The organisation also brought Santa joy to a local care home, Morrison’s supermarket and to the streets and estates of Heywood.
Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland is a membership and humanitarian service organisation. Through membership of their local Rotary club, members use their time and talents to make a difference in their own communities and around the world.
There are two clubs in Heywood; Rotary Heywood 2020 and the older Rotary Club of Heywood.
