Celebrating 30 years of Rochdale’s Skylight Circus

Date published: 15 December 2020

Skylight Circus Arts have planned some online fun for their 30th birthday bash this week.

Skylight, which is based on St Chads Fold, Rochdale, has been professionally delivering circus skills activities to people of all ages in Rochdale since the 1980s.

It is a registered charity based locally that provides circus themed workshops and classes for children and adults to help develop confidence, social skills and improve physicality through performance.

To celebrate three decades of teaching new skills and bringing circus workshops to the people of Rochdale, you can join Skylight live on Facebook on Thursday (17 December), 5pm – 7pm, hosted by chairman Jim Riley.

From having a chance to custard pie the chairman, to a live performance from the Spotlight troupe, Skylight Circus have lots of memories and giggles to share. After taking a walk down memory lane, there will also be circus performances, competitions like ‘guess who’s in the shed’, and prizes for winners.
