Fire at Freehold flats involved rubbish

Five fire engines tackled a fire at the Freehold flats, Rochdale, on Friday evening (27 November).

The fire involved a quantity of rubbish outside a bin chute at the flats on Tweedale Street.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, and remained in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
