Man dies after falling from College Bank flats

A man has died after falling from one of Rochdale town centre’s College Bank flats (Monday 28 September).

Police confirmed they were called to Mitchell Hey on College Bank Way at around 1.40am, to reports of a man falling from height.

Emergency services attended and sadly found the body of a man believed to be in his 60s.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be passed to the coroner.”
