Chase rainbows or go on a bear hunt this weekend

Residents up and down the country have been placing drawings or paintings of rainbows in their windows – or even teddy bears – in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, providing a wonderful social distancing activity.
The movement began with children drawing many of the rainbows, the natural phenomenon chosen to depict hope, and encourage people to remain positive.
Furthermore, a mass teddy bear hunt is also underway to help distract bored children.
Inspired by Michael Rosen’s classic children’s book ‘We’re Going On A Bear Hunt’, the stuffed toys are being placed in windows to provide a second safe and fun activity when out of the house.
As people are allowed to leave the house for one form of exercise each day, consider taking your children to chase rainbows, or even go on a local bear hunt and see how many different teddies in your neighbourhood you can find.
