One Nation distributing hot food for NHS staff

Date published: 25 March 2020

One Nation volunteers from the Rochdale branch recently delivered hot food to the Accident & Emergency department at The Royal Oldham Hospital.

A variety of different meals and pizzas were delivered to the very welcoming and surprised staff.

Mojahid Ali, Rochdale Branch Manager, said: “We are facing some very difficult and challenging times with the COVID–19 pandemic. We have to support one another. Our NHS staff who work tirelessly to look after us and our loved ones are the real heroes. The least we can do is show them some appreciation and support.

“On behalf of One Nation and all of our volunteers, we would like to thank the NHS for all of the amazing work they do.”

One Nation is a UK-based humanitarian charity which supports local, national and international projects, from providing hot food and support for the homeless to providing emergency aid, clean water, food, clothes and shelters in devastated countries around the world.
