A Heywood care home has been rated “good” by the health watchdog.
Residents living at Heywood Court, in Rochdale, praised the home for being safe, welcoming, and having a positive effect on their lives.
Staff respected patients’ privacy and always treated them with dignity and respect, reported the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a recent inspection.
Residents at Heywood Court, which is run by Four Seasons Health Care, described staff as “wonderful” and “very genuine”.
One resident said: “I love it here. I am making the most of it. They talk to me and treat me with dignity. They respect us.”
One relative said: “I never feel worried about leaving our relative. It is a blessing, and I like coming myself.”
The home provides personal care for up to 43 residents living with dementia.
Angela Clarke, Managing Director – England North East, for Four Seasons Health Care, said: “I am very proud of the team at Heywood Court for the high-quality care they give to people in their care.
“Residents have nothing but positive words to say about the staff and this is thanks in no small part to the strong leadership provided by our excellent care home manager.”
