Poor water pressure in Middleton fixed
Date published: 09 September 2019
An ongoing issue causing poor water pressure in Middleton for several days has been resolved as of Monday afternoon (9 September).
The incident was first reported on Tuesday 3 September, following a technical fault on the water mains network.
A United Utilities spokesperson said: “We’re pleased to say that a technical issue in the Middleton area that was causing some customers to experience poor water pressure has now been fixed and pressure within the network has returned.
“We do have some ongoing maintenance work taking place at Hatters Reservoir and a small number of customers may still experience a very slight reduction in water pressure, but we wouldn’t expect it to be noticeable to most residents.
“We’d like to apologise for any disruption caused.”
