Date published: 29 August 2019

Stamford House Residential Home held a summer fun day for residents, families, staff and children on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August.

Over 60 people gathered in the garden at Stamford House in the sunshine.

Roxanne Sharp, Events and Activities Coordinator, said: “We had a bouncy castle, garden games, music, a bbq, a buffet, glitter tattoos and a raffle.

“Local businesses kindly donated prizes for us and we raised £90 for our residents fund, we will have a vote on how we will use the money.

“It was lovely to see so many happy people having fun.

“We look forward to our next event which will be in October for Halloween.
