The Autumn Fair at St Andrew's, Dearnley which was held in Church raised the fantastic sum of more than £1,200 for church funds on Saturday 10 November.
It was opened jointly by a choir from the St Andrew's Primary School and by Councillor Ashley Dearnley, who has been attending St Andrew's all his life.
Rev Rachel Battershell said: “It was a magnificent effort by all concerned. Heartfelt thanks to everyone.
“The annual Autumn Fair is the church's main fund-raiser each year and the money raised is an essential contribution to the costs of keeping St Andrew's functioning.
Councillor Dearnley said: "Not only is the success of the event essential for St Andrew's, but also for the various community groups that meet there and use the parish room as their base.”
