Castleton Post Office reopens

Councillor Billy Sheerin posts a parcel at the newly opened Post Office
The Post Office in Castleton reopened on Tuesday (25 September).
A spokesperson for the Post Office said: “I am pleased to confirm the branch reopened on Tuesday.”
The Post Office has previously been closed for a number of reasons, most recently in July 2018.
It previously closed in January 2018 due to ‘staffing issues’ and August 2017 for refurbishment.
Councillor Billy Sheerin said: "It was totally unacceptable that the business closed. I was annoyed, but now I'm delighted, and hope it will remain open.
"We need some stability as we need to regain our confidence in the Post Office."
