The van collided with a lamppost after colliding with a tree
A silver transit van collided with a tree and a lamppost in Heywood after it failed to stop for police on Saturday (22 September).
Shortly after 4.10pm on Saturday, police pursued a silver Ford Transit van after it failed to stop for officers in Heywood.
The van collided with a tree on Melrose Avenue before the driver fled the scene on foot.
The van continued to roll down a hill before colliding with a lamp post on Bamford Road.
There are no reported injuries and enquiries are ongoing.
A 22-year-old man is due to voluntarily attend a police station on Wednesday.
