Mayor and Mayoress visit Kentmere Academy

The Mayor and Mayoress, Ian and Christine Duckworth with Kentmere Academy Head Teacher, Sarah Isberg

The Mayor and Mayoress, Ian and Christine Duckworth, visited, Kentmere Academy on Wednesday 25 April to celebrate their recent outstanding Ofsted grading and to thank those who had assisted them on this journey.

A celebration assembly included songs performed by the children and music from the Kentmere Academy Brass, conducted by Gwen Smith.

There was also a presentation of a plaque to commemorate this achievement from the Mayor to the Head Teacher, Sarah Isberg.

Dr Graham Wright, Wardle Trust CEO, and Simon Day, Kentmere Academy Chairman of Governors, also joined in the celebrations.
