Siddal Moor raise £250 for Macmillan

On Thursday 28 September staff at Siddal Moor enjoyed a cuppa and some delicious cake all in aid of the wonderful Macmillan cancer support.

There were no half-baked attempts and judging from the amount of people who called in to grab a slice of the action there was something to tickle everyone's fondant fancy.

The real icing on the cake is that we raised money to help make sure no one has to face cancer alone.

The coffee morning, organised by staff members, Mrs McLoughlin and Mrs Howarth raised a fantastic £250.

Mrs McLoughlin said: “Thank you to everyone who made cakes, faked cakes and donated money for such a worthy cause, you are all stars.”
