The proposed two-day strike by drivers from First Manchester on 12 and 13 June has been cancelled
First Manchester bus drivers have called off their plans to strike next week.
Unite the trade union is recommending a new offer to drivers from First Manchester, which will see a pay increase for bus drivers at two of its depots.
All First Manchester services will run as per the timetable on 12 and 13 June.
Phil Medlicott, Managing Director at First Manchester, said: “We are pleased to have reached an agreement with the trade union today, as strike action would have had a huge impact on our customers who rely on our services every day.
“Our bus drivers do a fantastic job and we are happy to provide a pay increase that rewards their hard work and support for the business.”
