Hack Off Cancer raised over £4,000

Date published: 06 January 2017

Hack Off Cancer, a sponsored horse ride from Watergrove Reservoir organised by The Three Amigos FUNdraising Group in aid of Cancer Research UK, raised £4374.19.

Kath O'Donnell said: “We had the largest amount of entries this year, with many travelling from all over the north west, so we needed to use a second car park, thanks to Wardle Academy for helping us out .

“Many of the horses and riders were dressed up in some great outfits for halloween and in pink for awareness. This looked very impressive and there was a fantastic atmosphere and the weather was perfect once again.

“We would like to thank Vantage Cars who kindly sponsored the event and United Utility for the use of their land.

“Also Galloping Geldings, Finest Brands, Allen and Page, Blue Chip, Dodson and Horrell, Dengie, Emerald Green feeds, Rowan Feeds, Freestep-superflex, Battles, Nags Rags, Global Herbs, Faith In Nature, Blaze Clothing, Naf, Protexin, Westgate EFI, Just Chaps, Fairfax Saddles, Naylors, and Sunhil Group who donated raffle prizes and goody bags.

“We could not do these events without the support from these companies, many of whom donate yearly and we are extremely grateful to them.”
