Hayley Stevens is trying to trace her grandfather, Michael O'Rooney.

Mrs Stevens said: “Michael O'Rooney was my mother's father, whom she has never met. If still alive he would be in his mid to late 80s.

“My late grandmother had only given us minimal information before she died.

“Michael was originally from County Mayo Ireland but was last seen living in Rochdale.

“I believe he worked for Rochdale Corporation Bus Company in 1951/52.

“Michael also had connections in Milnrow where he lived with his aunt and sister.

“The last piece of information we received was that he may have emigrated to Canada.

“I would be so grateful if you could get this information out there for me in hope that either him or his relatives get in touch.”
