Man and woman stabbed in Middleton

At 7.30pm Tuesday 22 November 2005, police were called to Ullock Walk in Middleton following reports that a man and woman had been found in the street suffering stab injuries.
Officers and ambulance crews attended and found a 36 year old man suffering stab wounds to his back and a slash wound to his forehead and a 36 year old woman suffering stab wounds to her lower back.
Both victims were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries. They remain in a serious but stable condition and their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Enquiries are ongoing.
