Following last’s year’s highly successful Mr Men and Little Miss tour, the Performing Arts students performed another show around Rochdale and Middleton schools. This time it was a show on the Hi 5 Club, based on the popular TV show.
The show, which lasted 40 minutes and aimed at children 4 – 7 years old, was non-stop, high-energy song, dance and broad comedy; it was toured round Rochdale and Middleton schools from 9th to the 26th May 2005. The theme of the show was the different kinds of energy we use, such as food to keep our bodies running, sun and water power, gas and electricity.
Director Paul Jones says , “Feedback from the schools has been absolutely brilliant. Everyone wants a CD from the songs and music for their classes, giving the message about different kinds of energy we use”.
