Body Found - Middleton

Officers in Middleton were called to a pub on Bowness Road in the early hours of this morning, Friday 20 May 2005, following reports the body of a man had been found.
Police were called to the Welcome Inn pub on Bowness Road by the ambulance service at approximately 2am. They found the body of a 62-year-old man outside the back door with minor facial and head injuries. It is believed he had been drinking in the pub earlier on that evening and had collapsed outside when he left.
There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and the case has been referred to the coroner.
