Petrus Sponsored sleep out on 22 April
The Petrus Community is organising a sponsored sleep out to raise money for the Borough’s homeless, and you are invited to take part.
The event, on 22 April at Spotland Stadium, is part of a nationwide campaign to help those living in poverty. Over 30 people took part last year, including the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale, and Rochdale MP, Simon Danczuk.
Almost £3,000 was raised, a target which the event organisers are hoping to hit again.
Petrus is a registered charity which began in 1972, and has since been providing supported housing and related services to homeless people in Rochdale, Heywood, Middleton, Rossendale and Oldham.
