Momentum members turn down invite to Danczuk party

Momentum Rochdale Labour Party members, who have been invited, will not be attending the New Year’s Party to be hosted by Simon Danczuk on Friday (8 January).
A spokesperson said: "By attending the event, we believe that it would be a sign of our support which we believe would be prejudicial in light of Mr Danczuk’s suspension and pending investigation.
"We will alternatively be making a donation to the Rochdale Foodbank for what it would have cost us to attend."
