Date published: 09 September 2015

The exhibition will see 66 local businesses display and demonstrate their services to members of the public, as well as providing opportunities for business-to-business networking.

Speaking about last year’s event, Pamela Walsh, Partner at Hartley Thomas & Wright, said: “I attended the 2014 event and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It proved to be an opportunity to speak with both visitors and other exhibitors. I made new contacts and was pleased to have an opportunity to further network with existing contacts. I am looking forward to building on this in 2015.”
Henry Bee, from Bee Clean Window Cleaning, said: “It was an outstanding event which was very busy. We did some good business and it worked very well for us.”
Susan Phillips, from Reiki Rochdale, said: “Events like this are good because it gives you the opportunity to come together with other businesses who you may not be familiar with or they may not be familiar with you.”
The exhibition has also been praised by Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk, council officers and local councillors.
Simon Danczuk said: “I think this is a really good event that has brought together businesses from across the borough. In a way it is a celebration of what the borough has to offer. I have spoken to everyone exhibiting and everyone has said how good it is. All credit to Rochdale Online for organising the event.”
Mark Widdup, Director of Economy and Environment at Rochdale Council said: “It has been a really good and positive event. It is bigger than last year and there are certainly more people here and that shows that people have confidence in the event. It has been really good to see all of the local businesses showing what they have to offer. This event is not just for businesses and local people to interact but it is important for the business to business interaction and that is something this event is really good for.”
Councillor James Gartside, who has attended all four previous business exhibitions, said: “It is definitely getting bigger and I think that is great. It is a really good event for local businesses.”
