Rochdale Online launch sponsored links

Date published: 23 January 2014

Rochdale Online has launched sponsored link adverts on the Rochdale Online website.

The popularity of this type of advert with advertisers has been proven on social media sites and we wanted to give local advertisers the opportunity to reach our very large local audience with a descriptive advert that at just £95 per month is affordable and offers terrific value for money.

Karl Whitehead of 'Photography by Karl' is the first local business to take up a Rochdale Online sponsored link.

Based at Moss Industrial Estate on Woodbine Street, Karl offers top quality wedding and portrait photography and though he gets lots of referrals from existing clients, recognises the importance of seeking new clients via local advertising.

Karl said: "Rochdale Online has established itself as an institution in the town over the years, and I'm very happy to break new ground with them by being the first to try the new sponsored links.

"My new website is about to be launched, which is hugely exciting for me, and there is no better place to promote this than on the pages of Rochdale Online.

"I'm sure this will be another step in a long partnership between Rochdale Online and Photography by Karl."
