Small Business Saturday window dressing competition winners for Milnrow and Littleborough
Date published: 07 December 2015
Councillors Dearnley, Emsley, Hartley and Stott braved the weather to judge Littleborough's Small Business Saturday window dressing competition.
They said: “It was really difficult to agree on a winner as the standard of entry was really high.
“The Flower Borough's handmade real Christmas tree dress clinched the top place, with The Secret's stunning angel design dress and Janet’s Hairdresser paperchain Christmas tree coming very close runners up.”
Councillor Allen Brett and Pennines Township Officer, Tracey Knight, had a pleasant walk around all the shops in Milnrow to judge the Small Business Saturday window dressing competition.
Councillor Brett said: “It’s been really difficult decision to choose the best shop window display as there were several very impressive windows.
“The winner was Village Treasures and highly commended was Images, which is celebrating 30 years in the village.
“Carpet Creations was another great display.”
