Absolute Angling Centre: new fishing tackle shop opens
Date published: 30 November 2015
Gary Leigh and Darren Beswick opened their new fishing tackle shop, Absolute Angling Centre, at 79 Long Street, Middleton, on Saturday (29 November).
Enthusiastic anglers attended the opening and the shop was also visited by the Chairman of Middleton Township Councillor June West and fellow councillors Peter Joinson and Terry Linden.
Gary Leigh said: “Absolute Angling have 11 fishing waters in the Middleton Township and the need for a professional tackle shop has been our wish for many years.
"Finally we have opened and we have a top range of professional suppliers of fishing tackle including Main Line, Solar, SSP. Nick Gilbert, Middy Census and many more.
“There are over 1 million anglers in the UK and many in our borough and hopefully we can give them good affordable equipment and bait and free advice.”
Councillor West said: “The shop looked great and I wish them lots of luck in their new venture.”
