CTL Wealth Management celebrates 10 years in business

Date published: 08 October 2015

Heywood based CTL Wealth Management Ltd celebrated 10 years in business in September, which is something quite remarkable according to director Colin T Lambert: “Although I have spent my entire life in financial service in one form or another, I’m sure we would all agree that the last 10 years has seen some severe issues in the world both economically, financially and politically, so it was fantastic to just say thank you to clients and contacts that have made all this possible.”

Mr Lambert added: “We are a small local firm providing services to other local businesses in the Manchester area, so we have an affinity to them as we’ve probably gone through the same business issues like them. Both my wife Carmel and I left secure jobs to set up the business from scratch and yet despite all these issues we have managed to come out the other side."

The business has gone from strength to strength and Mr Lambert believes that this is probably down to several things: “Most significant I think was moving into our own offices, this gave us a real presence in the area and this is something the local accountants and solicitors seem to like.

"We bought a derelict pub through our pensions, renovated it and now it’s offices not just for us, but four other businesses too. We deal mainly with business owners and it is great to sit in the meeting room with clients and tell them they are sitting in my pension, it opens their eyes to a world of pensions that most people don’t realise."
