WHR Property has been awarded the Best Asset Management initiative award at the Industrial Agent Society awards for their work on Stakehill Industrial Estate in Middleton.
John Barton, who lives in Rochdale and is an associate partner and part of the industrial team at WHR Property, picked up the award at an awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The Best Asset Management Initiative award is a new category given to “reward Asset Managers for the tenacity in overcoming various challenges and hurdles put in front of them along the way”.
After much deliberation, the judges decided to award WHR Property with the accolade as they “exhibited great skill and guts to complete the renaissance of a very run down estate into one which tenant’s wanted to occupy.”
Units at Stakehill Industrial Estate are occupied by UK Mail, DHL, Boots, Dunlop, LED Hut, DFDA and UK Cables.
