SAZ Cosmetics Opens in Rochdale

Do you like make-up? Fed up of paying high prices or need to buy presents?

Then SAZ Cosmetics is the place to visit. This new business retails brand name make up, perfumes and gift sets at low prices and opened its door for business in Rochdale town centre on Saturday 31 July 2004.

Having worked for 8 years in retail as a manager for companies such as Powerhouse, Staples and New Look, Ruky Hussain felt it was time she opened her own retail business. Having researched the market she found there was great interest in cosmetics.

Initially Ruky started the business doing home parties, which was met with a lot of enthusiasm and this led her to open SAZ Cosmetics, selling brands such as MaxFactor, Maybelline, Revlon and Almay. The business caters for all tastes and a must see for the youngsters is the 'Kiddies Korner'. Also available is a hair and beauty service.

"The make–up at SAZ Cosmetics is excellent value for money and I love the gift sets, they make such good presents", said customer Miss T Khan.

Although Ruky has many years of experience in retail, she contacted Ethnic Minority Business Support (EMBS) to assist and guide her business venture. She gained invaluable business support from EMBS, who also referred her to NES for funding, BBV and Women into Enterprise.
