Holroyd Precision win Queen’s Award for Enterprise

Date published: 13 July 2015

Holroyd Precision has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade at this year’s award.

The Queen’s Awards recognise outstanding achievements by companies across the UK focusing on International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.

Neil Jones from Holroyd Precision said: “The Queen’s Award has provided us with a platform to demonstrate the significant growth in overseas trade in Holroyd, something that was achieved in spite of challenging global trading conditions. It has also highlighted the skill and dedication of our staff here in Rochdale, and our various support teams globally, as well as the hard work and dedication that has made winning the Queen’s Award possible.

“Winning the Queen’s Award has certainly had a positive impact on how we are perceived by our customers and suppliers who acknowledge the fact we have achieved this accolade. Positive feedback and congratulations has been a common occurrence, not just from UK based businesses but also from a number of overseas suppliers and customers.”

Holroyd Precision designs, manufactures and exports specialised machinery and tools for a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, process gases, HVAC, marine propulsion, power generation and high end automotives.

Holroyd Precision will collect their award on Wednesday 15 July at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
