Small Business Saturday

Date published: 10 July 2015

This year the Small Business Saturday campaign is once again highlighting 100 small businesses, one a day for the 100 days leading up to Small Business Saturday 2015.

For the last two years, the 100 businesses selected have not only received exposure on social media channels and in the local press, but also joined the Small Business Saturday team in London at a reception in Downing Street with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne. Last year local business Pringle Accountants was selected to be one of the 100.

Owner Ruth Pringle said: “Small Business Saturday is a fantastic campaign to support and promote small businesses.

“Being chosen as one of last year’s Small Biz Sat 100 provided an amazing opportunity not only to raise the profile of my own business, but also to champion the many other small businesses we have in Rochdale and the surrounding areas.

“I would recommend any small business owner get involved in this campaign to help highlight the tremendous work done by small businesses and what they have to offer in terms of range of products and services, and levels of customer service.”

You can enter your business at smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com. Just look for Small Biz 100 at the top of the page.

Applications close on 17 July, 2015. Successful applicants will be notified by email in August.
