Advanced LED Technology moves production to Heywood

Advanced LED Technology Ltd (ALT) has moved their production into the GJD facility in Heywood resulting in the creation of new jobs with the potential of more to follow.

Following the deal in 2012 which saw GJD Manufacturing Ltd, acquire a controlling share of Advanced LED Technology Ltd (ALT), ALT has now moved their production site to the GJD facility in Heywood. 

GJD and Advanced LED Technology are well matched in their complementary technologies. GJD has a strong brand and positioning in the global market with its range of external motion detectors. Advanced LED Technology designs, develops and manufactures a comprehensive, innovative range of infrared and white light LED illuminators predominantly used for the professional CCTV sector.

Asked about the recent move, Mark Tibbenham comments: “It has taken a long time for GJD to find a partner that shares our vision on quality, innovation and growth. We are very excited about the future and the expansion of our site, we welcome the opportunity to create more jobs in the North West”.

Keith Fenwick, MD of Advanced LED Technology, said: “This is an exciting time for both companies and further strengthens our position in the market.
