Staff at the Co-Operative Travel on Yorkshire Street, Rochdale celebrated 160 years of service last weekend (Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January).
To celebrate their special anniversary, the team decided to put on an event inspired by the Rochdale Pioneers and donned early 1800s fancy dress.
Shoppers were welcomed into the store for refreshments and to find out about the stores latest deals.
Claire Williams, Assistant Manager at Co-Operative Travel said: “We thought we’d have a bit of fun to mark the team’s combined 160 years in the travel industry and what better way than to theme our weekend around the Pioneers.
“With summer holidays on so many people’s minds at the moment it was great to welcome customers old and new to pop in for a chat and to see us all in our 1800s attire.”
