25 Ten Boutique opens in Littleborough

Date published: 27 July 2013

25 Ten Boutique has opened at new premises in Littleborough.

Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson officially opened the new boutique today.

Owner of the boutique Kelly Turner-Mitchell said: “Small villages seem to be the best places for independent businesses these day. There just wasn’t anything left in Rochdale town centre.

“It was mainly financial reasons that we moved but our customers suggested Littleborough as a good place to go to.”

25 Ten opened in 2007 and was located in Rochdale town centre.

Kelly added: “We didn’t want to leave Rochdale because I’m a Rochdale girl but the town centre was too expensive.”

Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn attended the opening of the store and said: “I love that it is just round the corner and they have loads of different styles and sizes.

"The staff are also really friendly."

Ex Coronation Street actress and now Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson officially opened the shop by cutting the fitting pink ribbon and said: “They have stuff for everybody. They have lovely clothes and a great stock range of different styles for different occasions.”

“I’ve been coming to Kelly for years and she is really good with what she does.”

Now located at 56 Church Street Littleborough, Kelly, along with family and friends spent the last three months getting everything ready for today's grand reopening.

“It took longer than expected but the main focus was to get those doors open today” said Kelly.

Littleborough locals and other small independent businesses have also welcomed the new store. “Everyone has been really welcoming and we have had cards and presents off of some of the locals. I really think we will fit right in here,” added Kelly.
