Celebrating Learning

Nominations are now being accepted for the Adult Learners' Week Awards in the North West. Adult Learners' Week is an annual, national celebration of the benefits of lifelong learning, and will consist of awards for individual learners and projects and a range of activities.

The awards are a powerful way of recognising and celebrating the learning achievements of adults at work and highlighting the key contribution of an employer in promoting and encouraging adult learning.

The deadline for entries is December 13th 2012 at 5pm. Each nominated learner and project will receive a certificate, and will be invited to a regional celebration event.

National winners will also be invited to the National Awards Ceremony in London on Monday 20 May 2013.

Further information and the nomination forms are available at http://www.alw.org.uk/learning-awards
