Ladybarn promises great festive programme

The award-winning Ladybarn pub and restaurant in Milnrow, formally the Wishing Well, has reverted to its old name and has been given a facelift and is now packing in customers with a great new menu, fabulous entertainment and a fantastic party atmosphere promised for the festive season by manager Rob McSparran.

Named the JW Lees ‘Pub of the Year’ in 2010, the Ladybarn really is the place to go if you are looking for a great night out or a special family meal or simply a fun evening out in convivial company. There is a restaurant, function room, bar, indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids plus a beer garden for when the seasons becomes more kindly.

To tempt your taste-buds at a price that is truly gentle on your pockets, from now until Sunday 11 of November, it’s ‘Sausage Week’ and you can get a pint of beer or a soft drink plus a plate of bangers and mash for just £5.00!

Looking ahead to Christmas, there is a fantastic choice of festive menus featuring all the traditional goodies. The Festive Feast menu, available from 26 November to 12 December  Monday to Friday until 6pm and 3 courses will set you back just £9.99 (only £6.99 for children). 

The Christmas Fayre menu, available from 11 November until Christmas Eve, offers a really sumptuous meal for £15.99 with the children’s meal costing only £8.99. 

If you don’t fancy cooking on Christmas Day and you want to be truly pampered then the four course Christmas Dinner offers a superb choice of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes costs £47.50 (children £18.00). Places are limited so you are advised to book early to be sure of table.

The Ladybarn sets great store on its programme of entertainment and throughout December and early January there is something to suit everyone. Whether your tastes run to the inheritance tracks of soul and Motown, top local vocalists such as January or Ryan Gilmore or if you want to welcome in 2013 with DJ Alex and his great disco then the Ladybarn really is the only place in town to be.

Before you even think about writing your list for Santa, pick up the phone and book your place at the Ladybarn where you can enjoy a fantastic meal, all washed down with a pint of JW Lees excellent, locally-brewed beer.
