We Buy Any Car move headquarters out of Rochdale

Date published: 26 October 2012

webuyanycar.com has relocated from Rochdale to Chadderton in Oldham to set up a new headquarters in the 6,100 sq ft unit at Zebra Court on Greenside Way.

Independent agency P3 Property Consultants LLP has sold one of the last remaining new office buildings in Oldham on behalf of Law of Property Act receivers.

Zebra Court provides six individual office buildings totalling 26,265 sq ft near junction 21 of the M60 and was completed in 2007. Acquired by a Pinder Fry & Benjamin Regional Office Fund, the was never occupied and P3 Property Consultants acted jointly with Jones Lang LaSalle in the sale of a 999-year leasehold interest for the Joint LPA Receivers at PwC.

P3 also advised on the acquisition of an adjoining site, which has now received planning consent for redevelopment to provide additional car parking spaces for the new webuyanycar.com HQ.

Phil Meakin, partner at P3, said: "This was a very difficult deal to put together as it involved a number of different parties and we are delighted to have achieved a good result for all concerned. Its sale does however mark a point where the availability of new Grade A offices in north Manchester is becoming rather limited, begging the question as to when we will start to see new build again."
