Vileda UK commit to Rochdale for a further 10 years

Freudenberg Household Products has signed a new ten year lease on their office premises located on the corner of Chichester Street and Milnrow Road in Rochdale. 47 people are employed by the company related to the site, which is the head office for the well-known Vileda brand in the UK.

The deal has been finalised with property developer Beva Investments, who own the building and were keen to retain Freudenberg as a flagship client on the Chichester Business Park development.

Will Chadwick of Beva commented: “It is good for Rochdale to keep high profile companies in the area and good for the local office market to show that high quality space is still in demand and can attract the right kind of tenants even in a market downturn."

Henrik Sternberg Managing Director of Freudenberg said: “We’ve decided to renew the lease and stay in Chichester Business Centre because of cost efficiency and a location which is central for our employees and our customers. With support from Beva Investments, we’ve refitted the office and created a new and modern working environment for our business.”
