Shoppers visited the new-look Co-operative Pharmacy in the Cutgate Shopping Centre for a health and beauty open day.
The branch has been refurbished to give a more customer-friendly interior design which means the pharmacy is brighter, feels more spacious and gives easier access to the pharmacy’s consultation room which ensures the pharmacist can deal with health queries discreetly.
Visitors on the day enjoyed free mini manicures or massages and goody bags and money off vouchers were also available.
The open day gave customers the opportunity to find out more about the health services available at the pharmacy including a prescription collection and delivery service, weight management and healthy living advice.
In addition, customers were able to learn more about how to manage their medicines, and find out about the pharmacy’s stop smoking and flu vaccination services.
Manager of The Co-operative Pharmacy, Graham Hibbins, said: “We are delighted with the refit and feedback from customers has been very positive. Lots of people came to see us on the day and the beauty treatments were especially popular.”
