Southdale appoints BDM to drive North West business

Date published: 01 December 2011

National construction and development specialist Southdale has made a key appointment as it continues to grow its North West business.

Andy Dyson joins Southdale as business development manager for the North West Region. This follows the company’s establishment of larger regional operations earlier this year.

Andy has a strong commercial background in the affordable housing sector with over 20 years spent working for registered providers and a range of principal contractors. Andy joined privately owned construction firm Richardson Projects in January 2003, where he held a business development manager position for eight years. The business was acquired by Rok in 2008 and later joined Mansell Partnership Housing in 2010.

Andy is based at Southdale’s Warrington office, helping to build upon the business’ activities across the region, including projects which currently spread from Rochdale in the East to Bootle in the West, and from Southport in the North to Crewe and Macclesfield in the South.

Andy said: “I am delighted to have joined Southdale as their new Business Development Manager based in the Warrington office. I have known the company and some of the employees for many years which has made settling in almost a seamless process. I am looking forward to helping the team with the continued growth and expansion of the North West region”

Southdale’s North West Regional Director Stuart Allison said: “Andy has a great track record in sourcing significant projects in the sector here in the North West, and we are confident that his business development skills will play a major role in the development of Southdale in the North West.”
