BBV Gets IT Together For Better Business

Date published: 03 February 2004

As part of an ongoing development strategy, BBV has recently invested in a brand new IT system which will help deliver a more efficient and streamlined services to its customer base. In an age where communications demand an ever faster response, BBV recognised that as a major player within the business community it was vital that its systems are more than capable of exceeding the expectations of today's market

BBV appointed Rochdale IT specialists Flexsys to undertake a complete IT audit in order to identify the current system set up, and then analyse the information to propose a best value solution which could possibly integrate as much of the existing legacy system as possible.

Flexsys' best value proposal was to replace 95% of the existing hardware and then install new, contemporary software including the implementation of Broadband for web and email, all protected by a state of the art security system including firewalls and virus walls. The result has been a co-ordinated, structured IT system with easy access to newly centralised data. BBV staff have embraced the new system and on a daily basis reap the benefits previously unachievable - benefits which are ultimately experienced by BBV clients.

BBV Chief Executive Paul Davidson is delighted with the new system. 'I believed we were presenting too tall an order for one company to deliver, but Flexsys have surpassed my expectations. This has increased our efficiency and reduced wastage, which will add to the value of the services delivered to our customer base.
