Are you prepared to fly the flag for england?

Heywood Business Group is encouraging local businesses to ‘Fly the Flag for England’ during their FIFA World Cup campaign in June.

In preparation for the event the Group has received funding from Heywood Township to supply and fit brackets which can be used to mount flags and banners during the World Cup. Some businesses already have brackets which were fitted a few years ago and the hope is that more traders take up this free offer.

The brackets can also be used to mount mini Christmas Trees during the run up to the Festive season.

Flags and banners will also be made available, free of charge to any trader who wishes to take part.

Chairman, Ian Beddoes said “I hope that local businesses in the area take up this offer and support this campaign. “It will add a touch of colour and hopefully bring more people into the town centre. “There’s no cost to the trader so why not join us in supporting the England team?” You can get more details from Ian on 01706 360423 or email heywoodbusinessgroup@googlemail.com

Heywood Business Group – next meeting
