Rochdale-based Lancashire Farm Dairies topped the bill at this year’s summer shows with nine awards, and two very high commendations in the dairy category.
The dairy company, which is one of the UK’s fastest growing grocery brands, picked up six awards for its cream and yoghurts at this summer’s Great Yorkshire Show, adding another three at the recent International Cheese Awards at Nantwich.
Products under sister brand Pakeeza also performed well, with Coconut & Vanilla Chai taking gold at Yorkshire, whilst Mandarin & Lime Lassi and Masala Chai Lassi picked up a respective gold and silver at Nantwich.
Both brands each received a high commendation for lassi and yoghurt.
Both shows saw entries from small producers, international brands and major retailers competing for the same awards.
Azhar Zouq, managing director at Lancashire Farm Dairies, said: “We are pleased that once again the quality of our products has been recognised in some of the most prestigious awards in the dairy category’s calendar.
“The summer’s country shows offer tough competition from some major brands as well as small independent companies so to be taking home nine awards this year really demonstrates the quality and growth of our brand.”
