Hornets launch Business Members Scheme

Date published: 29 March 2017

Rochdale Hornets launch their new ‘Business Members Scheme’ on Sunday (2 April) at the Crown Oil Arena.

Hornets work closely with many businesses across Rochdale and beyond and are looking to formally recognise the link within the business community.

To kick start the member scheme, local businesses are invited to a launch event where they will have the opportunity to meet up with a range of other local businesses, enjoy coffee and cake, and introductions from club chairman Mark Wynn and chief executive Adam Bates. Those attending will be invited to stay and watch Hornets take on French side Toulouse Olympique, in the Kingstone Press Championship competition.

Chief Executive Adam Bates is looking forward to the event, and is encouraging local businesses to back the scheme, he said: "Hornets work with many businesses far and wide, and I am keen to enhance the relationship between both club and business and provide an opportunity for all businesses, whether large or small, to get involved with Hornets. I believe that with the step up into the Championship this season, we are more commerically viable than ever before, and we can offer businesses a great opportunity to work with us and use the Hornets brand to their advantage."

The event starts from 1.30pm; places must be booked in advance:
