Kerry Warburton sets up new mortgage services business

Former Building Society Advisor Kerry Warburton has set up a new business in Rochdale - More Than A Mortgage Company Ltd

The well attended launch party for the business took place at the Waterside Restaurant on Sunday 27 November; a champagne buffet was provided throughout the day.

Kerry started at Skipton Building Society (Rochdale Branch) as a Customer Adviser over 13 years ago with no experience in financial services. She studied for professional qualifications and was placed on a management training scheme which resulted in her being given her first managers job at the Manchester branch. Kerry won an award for Customer Service and excellence in her first year as manager.

Moves to branches in Oldham, Burnley and finally Rochdale followed and Kerry again won an award at Rochdale, the prize being a weekend in Barcelona for all the staff and partners.

In August this year Kerry decided to set up on her own. Asked about her decision she said: "I am honest and have years of experience within the industry. I want the people of Rochdale to be aware that I am still offering my services as a whole of market adviser therefore being able to search the whole market to get them the best deals, hence why the company is called More Than A Mortgage."
