Date published: 22 March 2016

Yorkshire Bank has upgraded its branch in Rochdale.

The improvements to the branch, which is based at 9-11 Yorkshire Street, are part of a nationwide programme by the Bank to upgrade facilities to meet changing customer needs.

The branch has undergone a complete redesign and now houses an open plan banking hall, four counter positions, three open consultation positions and four private interview rooms.

Daniel Cropper, Branch Manager, said: “We are delighted with our newly formatted branch which underlines our commitment to Rochdale. While customers expect us to deliver flawless service, we also want them to have an enjoyable place to do their banking.”

Steve Fletcher, Head of Customer Banking Network, said: “While customers’ needs are changing and we are delivering new services to meet them, branches continue to be a really important part of how we ensure customers have a great banking experience with us. This is a fantastic new format branch in Rochdale and we’re looking forward to continuing to serve the local community from our modern new home.”
